Our Organic Mediterranean Garden Flower Mix is a carefully curated blend of 22 annual varieties selected to thrive in warm, sunny climates while creating a rich, natural-looking display. This mix combines ornamental beauty with strong ecological value, producing a dynamic tapestry of colour, texture, and movement throughout the season.

The planting evolves continuously as different species come into bloom, with airy cosmos, vibrant cornflowers, delicate poppies, and structural accents from sunflower, phacelia, echium, and more. The result is a balanced, meadow-style composition that feels both abundant and effortless rather than uniform or overly designed.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Organic Mediterranean Flower Mix directly outdoors from March to June, or in autumn in mild climates, in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Prepare the area by removing all weeds and lightly raking to create a fine seedbed.

Scatter seeds evenly at approximately 2 g per m² and press lightly into the soil without covering too deeply. Mixing seeds with dry sand can help achieve a more even distribution. Keep the soil moist until germination.

Once established, the mix requires minimal care and tolerates dry conditions well. Avoid overly rich soil or fertilisation, as poorer soils encourage better flowering. For best results, sow in blocks or drifts to create a dense, natural display.

At the end of the season, plants can be cut back or left to self-seed naturally for a returning display the following year.
