How to grow Radish Cherry Belle Seeds
Radish Cherry Belle is a fast-growing variety that performs best in cooler weather and produces crisp, round roots for fresh eating.
Sowing Radish Seeds
Sow Cherry Belle radish seeds outside 2–3 weeks before the last frost date, or sow in indoor containers any time of the year. To sow outdoors, plant directly into the garden and cover with a 1–2 cm layer of soil.
Germination & Spacing
Space seeds about 5–10 cm apart. Radishes grow quickly, and germination usually takes 3–7 days. Thin seedlings to at least 10 cm apart to allow enough room for root development.
Location & Soil
Select a sunny location with well-drained, fertile soil. Prepare the soil by loosening it to a depth of about 30 cm and removing any rocks or debris. Incorporate compost to enrich the soil with necessary nutrients.
Growing Conditions
Cherry Belle radishes grow best in cooler weather. Containers can be placed outside when the temperature is suitable and all danger of frost has passed.
Watering & Care
Water the seeds gently but thoroughly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Continue to water regularly so the soil remains evenly moist during root development.
Harvesting
In just 22 days, Radish Cherry Belle will be ready to harvest. The radishes should be firm and about 2.5 cm in diameter. Harvest promptly to avoid the roots becoming woody or overly spicy.
Enjoy fresh, crisp radishes in salads, sandwiches, or as a healthy snack.
